The MILS project
Throughout 2025 the entire city has been slowly transferred from the thin 32x32, or 16x32, baseplates and onto MILS plates. As sections were recreated on MILS plates, this seemed like a good opportunity to alter a section of the city. Previously, when a tram left the Clutch Crescent terminus it had to make a right-left kink to leave the city. This meant that the tram tracks had to sit on top of an old fashioned corner road plate. The Changes - visually
The new position for the Juice bar, Sushi bar donut stall and Burger Shack on Erling Mews; The viaduct arches now positioned on Denmark Street behind the Diner; The local pub and advertising board now placed on Erling Mews just past the toyshop and music shop; The Town Hall now moved to the side of the cinema on Block Lane; The Clock tower and market stalls have been moved behind the Detective's Office; The Pet Shop store now set back 16 studs from where it previously was pos

All Change
The current layout of the modular street (as it looked when the Jazz Club was added) has left a single 32x32 baseplate space for another modular building. The idea was that the next model - the 2024 release - would simply go into that gap or, if appropriate another 32x32 stud model could be swapped with the latest release. Project Edison
