Corner Garage Sidelot
Although not currently on the street, the Corner Garage Modular set has had a build added to the side of it. With the release of the Speed Champion F1 sets, the Ferrari F1 car has become an attraction for the citizens of the town to admire. A small 16 x 32 MILS plate is wide enough to allow the car to fit into a 'side lot', with a modified banner from the Vintage Parade Car GWP hanging at the front of the display.. Retro Vehicle Collection
There are several 6 stud wide vehicles in the Modular City layout. Many of these have been included with Modular builds - the fire engine in Fire Brigade, the limousine in Palace Cinema, the convertible car in Downtown Diner and the recovery truck in Corner Garage. Other vehicles in the city are Gift with Purchases - like the Hot Rod GWP, vintage car GWP, vintage taxi GWP, Moving truck GWP and the Vintage Parade GWP. Over time, I've added several more 6 stud wide MOC retro ve

Caud Alley, redesigned
Previously I posted about Caud Alley, and how it contained the two converted Harry Potter Olivanders and Madam Malkins façades. Those were moved when I redesigned the corner of the city after adding MILS plates. That left a 64 x 16 stud gap behind the Modulars. When I added the new Shopping Street modular, replacing the Jazz Club with it, I rebuilt Caud Alley. This section of the city now contains the Corner Kiosk, along with the repositioned Modular Park that was removed to

Shopping Street
The next modular build to be lit in the street is the 2026 Modular release - Shopping Street. This is a split two and three storey corner design with a unique footprint, and contains a music store as well as a furniture shop. The left of the ground floor is a triangular shaped music store. The small polyagonal furniture shop sits to the right, with an angled passageway between them. The second floor contains another storey for the music store on the left, and a carpenters wor

The MILS project
Throughout 2025 the entire city has been slowly transferred from the thin 32x32, or 16x32, baseplates and onto MILS plates. As sections were recreated on MILS plates, this seemed like a good opportunity to alter a section of the city. Previously, when a tram left the Clutch Crescent terminus it had to make a right-left kink to leave the city. This meant that the tram tracks had to sit on top of an old fashioned corner road plate. By removing the Corner Garage modular from the

The Paparazzi
A group of photographers standing outside the Palace Cinema as the star guest arrives for a film premier. The paparazzi in action before being added to the street. Each Minifigure is holding a camera element with a round clear tile as the lens, A single BIT light inside each camera is connected to a 'Machine Gun' effect board that cycles through a double 'blast' for each of the four connected BIT lights. Baker Street Alleyway
With the release of the Sherlock Holmes Book Nook set, it was too good an opportunity to miss to create a short alleyway running from the front of the Modular to the façades at the back. The design of the Book - with its angled positioning of buildings meant that it would give an increased feeling of depth when positioned between two modular builds. Once built, I removed the modular park and safely stored that for repositioning at some point in the future, and added the Book

Corner Kiosk
The final part of Caud Alley features this little Gift With Purchase set - a small newsstand, with external magazine and postcard display. It has been placed to the right of the antiques shop (created from the Olivanders façade) at the end of the alley that runs behind the Jazz Club. The Corner Kiosk, for all your reading requirements. A single BIT light has been placed inside the kiosk, lighting up the owner, the newspapers and spilling out onto the alley pavement.

Caud Alley
When Tudor Corner was built it had to be placed on a new section of work surface as the first two walls were full. It looked odd on its own, so I added the Jazz Club to it as a temporary measure (until the next corner modular is released). I then needed to find a way to hide the rear of both Tudor Corner and the Jazz Club from view, and so decided that the Harry Potter themed set 'Olivanders & Madam Malkin's Robes' (#76439) would work as a façade. With the addition of a few p

Tudor Corner
The next modular build to be lit in the street is the 2025 Modular release - Tudor Corner. This is a three storey corner design with an angular footprint, and contains a small haberdashers to one side. The ground floor is a quaint old English style pub, or inn with a small bar space and kitchen to the rear. The Haberdashers at the side has a small footprint but contains everything you;d expect inside it. The second floor is a clockmakers workshop, accessed via an external sta
