Brickston Station

From the moment that Lego released the Vintage Steam Train set I knew it needed to be added to the Modular City.

I decided it would be best placed on the new third wall, right in the corner by the side of Tudor Corner.

I extended the platform so that it would fit over 64 studs, and created a pavement that went from Tudor Corner around the corner to two small steps that lead onto the platform.

A single BIT light in a black lamp lights the platform and small waiting shelter.

Once in place, I realised that the tracks for the train are in line with the disused viaduct (on the first wall) suggesting that the line once continued from this station onto and over the viaduct - before cutbacks were made (perhaps after the Beeching report).
