Optician's façade

After the Terrace House façades that were added between two modular buildings to give depth to the display, I wanted something similar that could be seen between the units that is present in the Assembly Square build.

As Assembly Square is full of commercial properties, I decided that a shop front should sit behind it giving the effect of another street sitting behind the Square, and accessible via the small passageway between the cafe and the flower shop.

Using the Bricklink Studio software I designed a shop façade that was based on a real building in my local city centre. With custom tiles printed by a UK company to create an opticians, the design looked like this. (BIT lights fitted to the light bar to illuminate the shop sign).
